The Mystery of the Godhead

The purpose and aim of this book is to present a final answer to a question that has plagued the theologians of the church for almost two millenniums.  The intention of the author is to give, in an impartial manner, a scriptural answer to this age-old question.

Loyalty to the "establishment" and to the "age-old traditions" has blinded many good men.  At last we have a  book written by an author whose only loyalty is to God and truth; and for truth's sake this book has been written.  This is "meat" for them who are of full age.  Only you can determine if you are ready for the truths this book contains.

This book intends to answer the questions that men through the ages have asked.  This question of the "Godhead" has posed problems such as:  Did the Old Testament saints have any knowledge of a divine triad (union of three)?  Did Jesus and the apostles in their teachings project a trinitarian concept?  Did the  early church believe in the trinity?  Is the trinity doctrine taught in the Holy Scriptures?  Were the writers of the Scriptures blind to the truth of this question as the theologians of the church have  been?  Is there really an answer to the mystery of the eternal Godhead?  Does the Bible have a final answer?

We are told that there are revelations and eternal mysteries which are so profound and deeply mysterious that they were never intended to be fully understood by mortals, but were to be secrets locked in the mind of God.  We are also told that the greatest of these mysteries has to do with the eternal Godhead and that it is too complex and involved to unravel.  It is not a doctrine to be understood; but rather, to be believed in pure, simple, childlike faith.  We are told not to delve too deeply into a study of this mystery for there are hidden reefs, where lie the wrecks of mighty intellects.

But it is now time to ask ourselves, what do the Scriptures teach concerning this mystery?
