Use your head
before your emotions take over.

in something and not come up – died to God and other things in life
– lost perspective.
No such thing as
an independent acting elder!
Church – egg –
all that is needed for life is in the egg, but it is also so fragile
it can be easily broken.
Better to save
your soul and lose your face, than to save your face and lose your
soul.
The church can
rise no higher than the level of the homes – the church can be no
stronger than our homes.
Little people
talk about people.
Average people
talk about things.
Great people
talk about ideas.
Diligent: A
perservering, painstaking and devoted application.
Crisis causes
true self to be manifest.
Grace is
unmerited favor.
Destiny is
determined by our response to obedience of God.
Cannot lose
sense of urgency of the times.
We can damn our
children by giving them that that they have not earned.
All rebellion is
sin, but all sin is not rebellion.
We do not oppose
ourselves because we are snared by the devil, we are snared by the
devil because we oppose ourselves. (II Tim. 2:25-26)
The devil can
only hinder God in a rebellious church.
Evil is the
result of exercise of a free moral agent choosing contrary to God.
Death brings evil to an end to make room on earth to serve God.
(Amos 3:6, Prov. 16:4, Psalms 76:10) Death keeps abundance of evil
back.
The work of God
is not done by overcomers – but those that are justified through
Christ.
Charge: A
declaration of a man of God that cannot go unheeded! A command!
There is no
development without activity.
To be “marked”
is to be “effected” (by the beast).
God is a logical
God – ask “is that doctrine logical?”
Not “coming
back” – but the Lord is gathering us together – healing -> love ->
reconciliation.
Heretic: One who
is at variance with God.
Sin: Self will
vs. God’s will.
Vain: An
exercise in futility.
Coming together
– beginning
Staying together
– progress

Daniel 10:13 –
Purpose of fallen angels is to keep the world in darkness as
respects God’s will and plan for earth.
Unless the Bible
expressly forbids it, who are you to condemn it?
The church needs
a domestic and foreign policy.
The first time
some ministers hear from God is when He says, “Depart from me ye
workers of iniquity!”
Rebellion –
unbelief.
Accumulate,
assimilate, eliminate.
Hardness –
stubbornness
Covetous: A deep
craving or deep desire to own wealth or possessions.
Mitigating
circumstances alter cases.
Wrong motives
may be more damaging than wrong deeds.
God is a logical
God.
A mediator is
one who intercedes on behalf of one lesser than himself to one
greater than himself.
God’s
responsibility ends where our responsibility begins.
Belief
determines conscience.
Conscience
determines conduct.
Conduct
determines character.
Character
determines Destiny.
No one is lost
until they die lost.
Work of God is
done by submission to authority not by power.
Do not fall
victim to those that are victims of the fall.
It doesn’t take
very much to be influenced by very little.
It was only when
Judas took himself out of the potters hands that he ended up in the
potters field.
It’s not how
fast you run, but where. (what rules, circumstances, etc.) (e.g.
from a lion in the forest or on a race track)
Without a
revelation we will not die in the faith.
We must
discharge our “obligation” debt to the church and to humanity.
Meek – tamed of
the Lord.
Curse – cast
off.
Faith – hope in
an impossibility (Romans 5:16)
This building is
large enough to hold all the “elect” in Des Moines.
The Law is the
transcript of the holiness of God.
Justification is
imputed.
Sanctification –
holiness is acquired.
